I have realised that I need to make a decision on buttons for my Hikaru before I sew the lining in... and I don't even know what I'm looking for. What kind/colour buttons would you put on this jacket?

What about those rounded leather knot buttons - I think I saw some at Tessuti? That is a lot of buttons though! The jacket looks really nice so far...
ReplyDeleteMaybe deep brown? I think black would be a bit cold, needs to have some warmth! Definitely take the jacket to the shops and see. I think something fairly plain since there are a lot to go on the jacket. - Kelly

ReplyDeleteIf you're feeling adventurous, you could make your own covered buttons with funky fabrics .... give it a more patchwork feel.
(But that's just me)
