Around clockwise from the top: Flourite, Turquoise, Azurite, Antimony, Garnet, Sapphire, Tanzanite. and Corundum in the middle. |
However I can't decide what colour to make it. I am going to use the same yarn again, Avalon from Morris and Sons, and have managed to 'narrow down' (in the loosest sense of the term) the colours from the 47 options down to 8...

I have sort of narrowed down this list of 8 to 3 or 4, but really haven't decided yet, so all opinions and suggestions welcome!
I would use either the Garnet or Flourite, personally. Although all of them are beautiful; I can see why you are having a difficult time deciding!
ReplyDeleteThey are all so pretty! I love the sapphire, but I also like turquoise, they are such happy colours to me :)
ReplyDeleteFlourite - definitely fluorite. I think that shade of green would look great on you, and be the perfect colour for a cardi.
ReplyDeleteI vote fluorite! It's a gorgeous colour.
ReplyDeleteI like the antimony I the azurite.
ReplyDeleteI'm also thinking of joining in the KAL but I'm worried the finished garment would be too small. Do you know if the bust measurement n the pattern is a full or high bust. Knitting patterns seem to use botg, without labelling!

I quite like corundum actually :-)
ReplyDeleteI have been thinking about the very same knitalong ... my problem is that I already have a lovely cotton I could use, but it would be a smaller gauge and I am just worried it would be too much hassle to try and get it to fit.
I like corundum, in fact on my way to check it out now for me!
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous colours! I particularly like the Fluorite and think it would look divine up against your skin colour :)
ReplyDeleteI'm totally late to the party, but Turquoise and Fluorite are my favourites!
